How to evolve Milcery into Alcremie in Pokémon Sword and Shield?

Pokémon Sword and Shield have a couple of special evolutions, as is the case with Sirfetch’d. Such is the case of Milcery, whose evolution is done in a … peculiar way.

In fact, if we want Alcremie to evolve we will have to do something very concrete and specific that has never been seen before in the saga, although do not despair, since in this entry of our Pokémon Sword and Shield guide we explain what exactly they are the steps you must follow to do it.

Where to capture Milcery

First things first: capture a Milcery specimen in order to evolve it. Luckily, it is not a particularly rare Pokémon and you can find it by searching Route 4. It is also found in some places in the Wilderness Area when the wind blows strong, remember that you can change the weather with a little trick.

How to get Alcremie and his ways

Milcery to evolve we will need one of seven types of Confites we can get by fighting in the Café Pokémon is in the big cities of Galar ( City Plunger, City artejo, and City Puntera ). Every day we will be able to fight a fight in each one of them and the confection that we will receive will be random (and does not influence the type of form that Alcremie will acquire).

The types of Confite are the following:

  • Strawberry confit.
  • Confit heart.
  • Flower confit.
  • Star confectionery.
  • Clover confectionery.
  • Fruit confit.
  • Bow confit.

If you want to get a quick and uncomplicated confectionery, you can find a Strawberry Confectionery in the northeast part of Ciudad Artejo, going up against some stairs near the train station that take you to an item on the ground, on the left-hand side.

Once we have one of the candies, equip it to Milcery and the most particular part of the method will come. Depending on how we turn our character, Alcremie will adopt one form or another.

The forms of Alcremie

Alcremie Vanilla Cream: Taking a quick clockwise spin during the day.

Alcremie cream pink: taking a quick turn counterclockwise during the day.

Alcremie Cream Tea: Taking a quick clockwise turn overnight.

Alcremie Peppermint Cream: rotating for more than 5 seconds in an anti-clockwise direction overnight.

Alcremie lemon cream: turning clockwise for more than 5 seconds overnight.

Alcremie Salty Cream: Taking a quick turn counter-clockwise overnight.

Alcremie mix pink: rotating for more than 5 seconds in an anti-clockwise direction during the day.

Alcremie caramel mix: rotating for more than 5 seconds clockwise during the day.

Alcremie three flavors: spinning for more than 10 seconds counterclockwise during sunset.

Obviously, it goes without saying that for all this to work Milcery must be on your team. As you can see, it is a rather peculiar and original method, but thanks to it we will be able to get hold of this very useful and adorable Fairy-type Pokémon with which to strengthen our team. In addition, we remind you that Alcremie is one of the few Pokémon in the entire game that has the possibility of adopting a Gigamax form.
