When you are looking to buy a new home for the first time or to move from an old one to the next as an upgrading or down sizing there seems to be no end of costs. If you are not going down the root of using a Broker at least that is one service, usually provided by the bank for free, of actually applying for the mortgage but after that you are looking at paying for every service going. At least you can know that with Sam Conveyancing you are getting an excellent service and an attractive price. You also know that you can sit back and let them take all the strain in getting this house purchase completed for you.
The Homebuyers Survey Cost might be an issue for some but this is where the lender comes in again. Most banks and building societies will provide you with a Royal Chartered Institute of Surveyors qualified practitioner that they have set up for their mortgage lending purposes. These are trusted partners of the lenders’ process and you can be sure they will do a good job.
Remember that the choice of level of valuation is done to you. If you want a basic level one (and if it’s a new build this is all you will have to pay as any more is pointless) then this is your choice. If the property is older then you should start to look at getting a Homebuyers Survey or even higher if it is a really old place.
